Location: North Dakota | What do they like?? My very good friend recently married a super nice guy and he has two little girls age 7 & 10. They are coming to our house for the long weekend and I wanted to have something "fun" for them to do and I wanted to put a little "goodie" basket together as a fun little surprise. My friend Hannah tells me they are very much girly girls so I thought in the goodie basket I'd put lip gloss, some fingernail polish, a book....and then I'm at a loss. I also thought for a fun activity we could Tie Dye some T-shirts or tank tops to kick off summer. What else? Give me your ideas please:) |

Location: Kansas | The new "in" thing for kids are those new rubber band bracelet kits...You might throw one of those bad boys in there as well.
ETA: My best friends son and daughter both have their own....and I have like 40 million bracelets from them they made me LOL

| My nieces are 8 and have a blast playing horseopoly or any board game for that matter. They love going to the park nearby and they also like to do nail art.
I think the tye-dye idea sounds super fun as well. Some girls even love to bake, cake or cookies they can decorate. |

| I have daughters 7 and 10. They like any kind of craft. A scavenger hunt is always fun, with a little trinket at each stop. Fingernails and toe nails seem to be a point of much concern as well. |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | My daughter is a farm girl tomboy, but she still loves to paint her fingers and toes crazy colors and patterns, and loves any kind of art project. Those rubber band bracelets are also very popular like someone else mentioned but they haven't visited our house yet. |

| If your horse is ground broke, let them brush and bathe. |

Oh yes! I've got one that LOVES to be loved by little girls. He'll pack them around all day and be so careful when they are on his back. Rides on Hunter have already been planned and they are very excited. |

Location: East Texas | You have gotten some good ideas. I have a 9yo girl and she likes the rubber band bracelets, Frozen, nail polish, and of course horses. She also loves to draw so maybe some twistables and a note pad. |

Location: Hill Country of TEXAS!! | I bought medium sized blank canvas' paints, brushes and let my nieces create whatever they wanted! The older teen LOVED it as much as the younger ones. They still ask me today if we can do that again. |

this is on the "to do" list:) We are going to try and have a bonfire and make those smores that have been floating around the internet lately. The ones with the sugar cone, peanut butter, banana, strawberries, marshmallows, and choc chips. Sounds delish to me!LOL |
