The current bit I ride my horse in is a "METALAB STAINLESS STEEL LIFESAVER SLIDING GAG BIT"
( https://www.horseloverz.com/product/gag/339281-metalabstainlesssteel... ) and he rides great in it!! The only problem I am having is lifting up his shoulders a little when we are going faster. When I am warming him up I am able to lope him in circles nice and soft with his head in and I am able to pick up his shoulders easily but it fades out when we go faster on the pattern. I was researching Carol Goostree's bit line and I was curious about her Twist Dogbone Simplicity Bit ( http://www.statelinetack.com/item/carol-goostree-twist-dogbone-simp... ). My horse seems to LOVE gag bits, the more gag the better. What are your reviews on this bit of hers and do you think it would be a good transition bit later down the road?

I LOVE the CG Simplicity bit.
I have it in a chain, smooth, twisted and doughnut mouthpieces.

Thank you! I looked back at previous threads for some more reviews but still curious about switching from this gag.

Don't depend on the bit alone use your legs to keep the hind end engage . Ride back to front.
