Turns out, even my cat is crazy. Normal cats would find a quiet, secluded place to hide and have their kittens.....not mine......I ended up putting her in a laundry basket with a little blanket and pillow......and, she's happy with that, as long as it's in the same room that I am in. If I leave a room, she starts grabbing kittens and bringing them to me. I thought I would be smart and close my bedroom door, but she just piled them up on the floor right outside the door. So, now, I have to carry the laundry basket of kittens with me around the house. I go to shower......yep, bring the laundry basket of kittens with me. Drink a few beers on the couch.....laundry basket of kittens right there with me lol..... Don't lose them in the pasture!!!! Or lose momma kitty in the pasture either!!!!!
lol....there's a very high chance of that happening! I have 4 chihuahuas and 8 cats now.....there is NO WAY that I am going to get the head count right. I'll be leaving cats all over town....in hay fields....at the Dollar Store lol. |

Location: California | EmtRoper - 2014-05-21 7:00 AM I have a year old female cat who is spayed. Recently she has been going around the house like she is in heat and is bellowing nonstop and is so loud. any suggestions to get her to stop. Can the come in heat after they are spayed?
Sounds like she is in pain. |

Location: Jersey Girl | My one cat was doing this strange kind of meowing one night and i thought something was wrong. She seemed to do it only when the house was dark and then one day she started it in the middle of the day. I discovered she does this when she carries her mouse toy around. Guess she is talking to it or letting my other cat know the "kill" is hers. |

Wish i had proof of my cats age when he was passed away at 21yrs of age! But being a stray no way really other than pictures of me and him as kids!
As to the OP my female is doing the samething while she is vocal she has been acting as if she is in heat (she never had a heat cycle was spayed early!) I think its the weather or something triggering it |

barrelracr131 - 2014-05-21 12:21 PM She's probably tired and wants you to watch them... she's saying "here, gramma, your turn!" lolΒ
Β She may regret that, when I start selling her children on Craigslist for $5 a piece.....
Does that include their first shots? Oh would you take $2.50? |

| My white cat would find the things that dust, the long fuzzy stick she would find that drag it around and cry. She is old and does not,do,that. Funny.

| My mom had a cat growing up, and when she married my dad the cat came along. I was around 7 or 8 when that cat passed. Only thing wrong with him was he was going deaf..... The family came home from dinner backed up to look for deer in the field, and ran of the cat :( It was so sad, we were rushing him to the animal hospital, when he passed. The cat was 29 years old. That poor thing went thur so many dress ups, wagon rides, bike basket rides ect ect.... I'm surprised he didn't have a heart attack. |

| well i broke down and took her to the vet.. and she is 100 % perfectly healthy and can be going through a false heat as my vet put it even though she is fixed. With our wacky weather she has seen a few of them going through this. She told me there is nothing we can really do about it but let it runs its course. So i guess earmuffs are in order. |
