| This is my gelding I had bought in feb for a trail pony. He has been having back and other issues.
Can anyone take the time to watch this and see if they pick up on an issue where he is possibly off. I never noticed it until I watched these videos again and know what his possible problem is. I am not going to say what I am seeing here because I want to see if anyone else notices first or I am just imagining that I see something.

| This actually him in October and not my video, theres a few more of him under that name on youtube. Hes barefoot (I think) in the videos and is obviously foot sore in the creek one. He is having issues with his right hip, what I was seeing was him not stepping under himself and dropping his hip. I did not see this when I purchased him, why I didn't want to say, it seems so obvious to me now. I went back to these videos because I think this is a long standing problem with him, I am so disappointed with myself I didn't see this.

| He looks to me he's tender footed, I assume he has no shoes on or just got them put on. Where I see him off is his right hind. He doesn't want to pivot on it and doesn't step underneath himself. He look like he's really trying to take care of that baby, maybe if there are videos of you riding him making him move out more we could see more. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | My gelding is big and heavy and sensitive on his front end if made to go in tight circles, so dont do the tight circles on hard ground. I would have a chiro go over your horse, and keep his front end shoed he may have thin soles and just really tender footed, I think he would feel better. |

| ^Yes that is what I was seeing. I had his back worked on Friday by a massage therapist (the one that figure out it was his hip bothering him after I had already had the vet out twice), seemed to make him comfortable through the weekend but his back is quite sore again today. He has another massage in a couple weeks. |

I would have a Chiro go over him. |

Location: Heart of Texas | I would have a chiro out, possibly accupuncture, lots of stretching that you can do yourself. Zero circles until he's 100% sound. Good Luck. |

| Thank you all for the extra eyes. I have called the chiro but can't seem to catch her on the phone, and have yet to get a call back after leaving a message. I wanted this particular chiropractor out because she is a dvm and also does acupuncture, but I may have to call someone else if she can't be bothered with me. He still seems sore along the top of his hip, both sides. Hes just been on "rest" the last month anyways. Or his version of rest anyways which involves galloping around like a maniac, doing sliding stops followed by roll backs. I don't notice him being off when he is just playing, I should video tape him sometime, he is such a brat pestering the chestnut horse by biting him in the rear end until he plays lol.

| I would take him to a lamness vet with your videos. Especially since ya kinda know where it is. Also, take you phone camera and take pics where themsore spots are. Might be you stifle and whorlbone. They can fix so much now. They can do irap, prp, tildren, stem cell. Chiro is good but it cant fix, fusing hocks, stifles. Longer you wait to fix it the longer cant use. sometimes if the stifle is just tight you can use estrone and and ride and get fit. |

| I've had the vet out twice, this was about 3 1/2 weeks ago, she is the one that gave me the chiro's number. She had found some back soreness. We didn't find any other soreness until she gave him muscle relaxers, then he was suddenly sore everywhere mid back to tail. When she did a flexion test on him first time she was out she thought he was very very slightly stiff in his right hock/stifle (hard the say which with a flexion test as both get flexed). When she had me just jog him out, she didn't see anything. The farrier is the one that thought it was his hip, he also does massage therapy and worked on him for me. Saw a huge improvement for a few days, but then he seemed muscle sore again.

| Found another Chiropractor I just called, should be out Tuesday. She also does saddle fitting, so very happy about that seeing I can't find a saddle to fit him either! |
