| Slightly over doesn't bother me a bit. We've had quite a few horses over at the knee, including a TB mare who ran for 6 years on the track and retired completely sound. There are other much worse conformation flaws to have.
ETA: Not every horse has perfect conformation - I would definitely take a horse slightly over at the knee.

Location: Ohio | I've never had a problem with them. I have had more horses with perfect leg conformation in the past have a career cut short by lameness than ones that have a few flaws, so I am a firm believer that its all in how they are started when they are younger, how they are conditioned and trimmed when working and cared for in general. Horses that are a little over the knee or a little cow hocked wont scare me off at all.  |

Location: Central Texas | Yep, bought an OTTB, slightly bent over, he retired from racing sound and have had no issues at all. Doesn't bother me at all. I just tell the people that it bothers not to look!
