Just going in and out of the casinos is pretty neat. There is the cemetery there with Wild Bill and Clamity Jane, Seth Bullock buried there. Its pretty neat to see.

We always stay at the Holiday Inn Express..just a nice hotel, right in the middle of town. Walking distance to everything. We love Deadwood..our New Years Eve trip every year! I personally love Saloon Number 10!

I love the history of Deadwood!  The cemetery was my favorite part.  We also went on a really great (and educational, but I am a total history nerd) tour of a mine.  I don't remember exactly where it was but I think it was on the highway in or out of town.  It was a really well done tour, more like a museum than anything.  Have fun, the Black Hills are so gorgeous!  I would love to make it back for another visit sometime soon!

The drive through Custer State park is really nice.  Love the town of Deadwood!  If you've never been to that area.  Spearfish is a nice town to visit, too.

We stopped through there on a random adventure a few summers back. Very neat town. Walked out of dinner and into a reenactment of a shoot out in the street. I would love to go back for a longer stay, very pretty area
