Turned around and decided to live elsewhere? May be awful dumb. But I have been wanting to live in Oklahoma forever! May be better job opportunity for my husband there! I love everyone in Indiana but feel my heart is out there. Idk. Maybe dreaming out loud! We love our home but a house is just a house without the memories created! So I'm not super in love yet. Oh I do have yet to post before and afters of our home we got last year!
And I know the grass isn't always greener on the other side. And definitely not as green grass in Oklahoma but ya never know I suppose.

Sounds expensive.

Yeah... Unfortunately....
We do have a lot of new equity in our home.

I would really explore your pros and cons and think things through. It can be very expensive to move. I dont know your circumstances but i would look into finding employment before moving.

Didn't your last thread say something about how you can't move now because you are needing to fix up your home more? Maybe you can concentrate on that, and then sell later on down the road.

Equity in a home is great but if you've owned it less than 2 years you'll have to pay capital gains on any money you do make off it, which can eat up equity fast. There is an exception for work transfer which was my saving grace.

I understand though. I bought a house in Michigan in May of 2012. By that fall I was ready to move, the office I worked in was changing and it just wasn't the same as when I decided to by a house and settle in for a bit. We moved to Iowa in June of 2013. Luckily within the same company and they provided help selling the house etc.

We're currently torn when we think about our next move...back closer to home or continue on the adventure?
