Location: on my horse		I posted before about my gelding, he's pretty green but is ready for some leverage. He hurt his mouth about a month ago so I've been riding him in a hackamore and that's working pretty well for us.

Eventually I need to get him back in a bit because I plan on showing him (reined cow) and you're not allowed to show in a mechanical hack. This ISN'T a pressing issue yet, I'm just thinking ahead.

His mouth is pretty wide, it seems like his lips are thicker than my other horses as well and he has what I can only describe as tall bars, normal bits don't sit well in his mouth and I've had to go wider but it still isn't right. I tried a three piece snaffle (french link) and even that didn't lay right in his mouth.

What about a tridional hackamore, im not sire about rained cowhorse but working cowhorse show in them and go through a two rein stage.
My cowhorse is in a halfbreed via two rein.
