| Here in northern MN, we were 46 this morning but not a record - 42 is the record low for today. Only 50 right now - I don't think we will hit 64 today. The horses are pretty happy, nice breeze and no bugs.

| In southern Iowa, the forecast all week is high in the mid to lower 70s and lows in the 50s. Couldn't ask for better July weather!! |

Location: the end of the rainbow | 112 here yesterday. But it should be a balmy 105 today. It wouldn't be so bad if it was the dry heat everyone always promises in the desert but the cloud cover is making it pretty sticky for us. |

| I heard a meteorologist (sp?) on the radio a few weeks ago. He said that all the people in his profession that are not biased toward global warming say that the sun is what controls the weather. He said the sun had gone into a phase that would cool the temperatures down - a typical cycle. I don't know how long it is supposed to last or any other details.
30-40 years ago, the experts said we were heading to an Ice Age. I don't think in recent years that it is as cold as when I was a kid nor has it been as hot in the summer.
Time will tell. LOL |

It was in the lower 50s where I am this morning. They were saying 62 for this part of the state. I'm not complaining though, light sweatshirt weather is my favorite! |

This last winter in MN set records for how cold it was. We had a stretch were it didn't go above -20 for quit some time. I'm sure someone from MN could help me put with the exact number of days. The Dakotas got hit hard with cold cold weather this last winter too. |

Hmm... We have lots of sun and this theory is not working anywhere on the west coast. We are hot and humid (for us it is humid)... |
