I have tried everything, I swear.  I have 4 fly traps hung around in my outdoor pens, but they are not working how I'd like them too.

I'm looking for relatively immediate relief.  What do you use/spray in your pens that actually works for flies?!  Keep in mind there is some grazing in these pens, so I will need something that is safe once dry.

Please, any suggestions?  I'm literally being carried away by flies this year!

I use a dairy barn aerosol. It seems to knock them down pretty good. I go through cans like crazy but our flies are unreal and it seems to at least give the horses some relief for awhile.

Does Tempo work good in a big pen?  We have terrible flies.

I would like to know this also.  My pens are pretty big and there are several of them.  Do you just spray the air and it keeps them out?  Or does it only kill the ones around?  I'm so annoyed.  Cannot find any fly spray that is doing the trick.  It works for about a minute and then they're back to fighting!!

That's the only thing that will keep them down for awhile for me.

Is this stuff safe to use in areas that will be grazed too?

it does, you have to cover the area and make sure it dries before you let anything out on it. The one bad thing is that if you have a heavy rain you'll have to reapply. I keep some mixed up and spray every 2 months and it's helped tremendously.

The way it works is that they will land on it and then within the hour are usually dead. They don't die immediately on contact but after a couple weeks you will see a big difference in the amount of flies around. Spray anything that they tend to hover on.
