I'm wanting to go to the APHA world show at Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth Texas in November, but I see that the stalls are $60 for a 24 hour period. I'm wanting to find a place that would let me stall for one or two nights. Does anyone know of any places close by that would let me stall? Unfortunately, I'm from Kansas and don't know anyone down south. Any input would be helpful! Thanks

Dont think Diamond W will be available, RTM would be a good possibility.

Try tammy Kidd from Wild West promotions. She has a place in azle. It might be a little bit of a drive but it is a nice place

If you do not get a stall you have to pay a $60 grounds fee plus you have to pay to enter the grounds (you get a gate pass). They WILL NOT let you in without a gate pass. I paid for my stall, a place to park and the gate pass when I sent my entry fee in. It is just expensive to go to any breed world show.

Grounds fees are very common at breed shows. If you read the information about the APHA World Show it tells you that there is a grounds fee.

This is the reason why breed shows won't get my entry anymore.   I went to the Paint show a few years ago and they didn't seem to really give a flip about the speed events.  I now just pay for sidepots for APHA.  If you go good luck and save your money!

The last APHA world show I entered was in 2006, and I was thinking that was the way it was then. I didn't remember the entry form allowing you not to get a stall. It is nice to say I won a world championship, but I will never pay that to try to win another one.

They are not ground rules--they are grounds fees. They are common with registered shows. You will probably hav to get a gate pass because it is through the city. This keeps neighborhood people from just drifting through and stealing your stuff.

we have a self care facility in South Ft Worth, that may have some space. We will be there covering the APHC show the week prior to the APHA, so PM me and I will give you a contact for the barn. It has a indoor arena, and a track to breeze your horses.
