Location: lexington KY | I have 3, they are all the older ones made by Circle Y. I had a cactus but didnt like it as much so sold it. For some reasons the stirrups never hung correctly or felt the same as the Circle Y. Mine fit my horses really well and I love the way the feel. The carpet on the underside of the saddle is so nice and easy to keep clean. |

Location: Mi | I have one by Cactus. I had a very hard to fit horse, seemed like everything I tried didn't fit, took me about a year and I finally tried Marlene McCrae Specuak Effx and it fit. From the day I got it its felt good riding in it. Like was said the carpet underneath is easy to keep clean also. I'm very happy with the saddle and don't have any complaints. Oh wait yes I do. I ordred mine brand new it come with a raw hide horn, in the pictures they were all leather (I wanted leather and just assumed it come standard guess I shouldn't have assumed) BUT the two I ordered for friends (Im a cactus dealer) after that come with leather. So I'm really not sure...lol Thats my only complaint I have and it really isn't a big deal. |

How do the stirrups hang. That is probably my biggest deal with saddles. |

I couldnt agree more. I will be buried with mine as well. I found another dot series last week and bought it immediately. |

Location: Mi | They aren't forward hung, they lay pretty straight down I guess you could say. I've never had a problem with my feet getting behind me or being able to get up either with this saddle. |

| I have one of the Circle Y ones. Not very well made but VERY comfy. The conchos that hold the back of the jockey seat stripped out and now it is loose. A regular saddle repair can't fix it. Maybe my mechanically inclined hubby could if I could get him to focus on that task.
Does not fit my wide, flat backed horses very well, no matter how tight the cinch, it rolls.
All that being said, I'm not inclined to get rid of it either.

| I have a Circle Y, older model MM. I bought it because it's much lighter than my Crown C. It fits my mare using a half inch pad much better than a 7/8 or 1 inch pad. I really like the way it fits my mare and how it feels to me. The stirrups hang more forward than the Crown C, not that I have anything against the Crown C. |

Location: North Dakota | Ah, my specialty. I bought a Cactus one 3 or 4 years ago now. Personally I love the saddle. It's comfortable, well balanced, and the stirrups hang right underneath you, not out in front, which is very important to me. I find it secure but I'm also able to move in it. My sister has actually pretty much stolen it from me now because she also loves it. Now for the horse side, the flex tree is nice, but it will not fit EVERY horse. There's only so much it can flex (and that's only width, you can't change how flat or curvy the bars are). So for example, one of our horses has big shoulders, high withers, and absolutely no topline. This creates a friggin crater behind his shoulders. The saddle is bridging on him right in that pocket behind the shoulder right now. It is just wide enough for his shoulders, but sits pretty close to his withers. Now, I don't blame the saddle or claim false advertising, as I don't think there's a saddle on this earth that would fit him without special padding right now. In short, it's a great saddle, but it can't work miracles and can't fit every single horse out there. |

Location: where ever my L/Q trl is parked | I had one years ago when that saddle first come into production....had nothing but trouble, twisted tree for one. No one absolutely no one could give me one.... there are so many other brand better made saddles and the endorser stands behind their products. |

| Thanks for the responses. I am going to have to just try it and see if it fits my horse and myself. Just didnt want to waste my time if everyone hated them... |
