| Slone Saddles (Todd Slone) will take in used saddles for credit towards a new one but I am not sure if they take only their brand or other brands as well. |

Teskeys will ONLY give you store credit- and be prepared to hear how not much your trade in is worth. I brought a close to new Crown C in there that I paid $2900 for six months ago- they offered me $1000 in store credit- said they couldn't pay me more than what they can buy them for which of course made me wonder how high the mark up is. |

Oh dang that sure is alot to pay for a used Crown C, I payed only 2300.00 for one that I custom to what I wanted and 2150.00 for a brand new one. Dont trust the stores that take trade in's. Sell saddle out right and then go buy a new one. |

Location: PNW | Caldwell does, AND they give you REALLY fair prices. I traded one in for $1000 towards my new Caldwell. Definitely way better than trading in college textbooks - that's for sure. |

| Not sure where you are located... I have a saddle shop about 100 miles away that takes trades and always has literally hundreds of new and used saddles in stock. They've always given me what I thought was a fair trade in price, but it's kind of like vehicles.. it's going to be lower than it's actual value. Not sure if you have any places near you that might do the same, but like someone else said, if you can sell it outright yourself, you'll come out farther ahead. |
