Finally over the hump and buck!!

Finally getting over my fears two weeks ago I started working with my husbands horse. I've mentioned him on here a few times with his bucking problems but never really did anything about it. He's a Hancock/Skipper W stocky son-of-a-gun and today I put his 7th ride on him!! I'm just so happy an excited that I can finally do things with this horse that everyone else has told me that I can't do. No one one here, just people in my life, but it feels so good to do something that I knew I could do!
Sorry for the post but I had to tell someone! I told one of my husbands friends the other day on how well we were doing and all I got was "I bet you next time he's gunna send you to the hospital". Hmmm, good encouraging words hu?

Keep up the good work. Time, consistant riding and wet saddle blankets will make a great horse.

Trust me... On a frosty cool morning even the tamest of horses will have some spring to their step when you 1st get on them... Congrats to you, but be careful..
