Location: ohio-in my own little world with pretty ponies :) | Not going to post any real specific info as I don't want it to sound like an add.
We bought a bigger trailer with living quarters in it maybe 7 years ago...used it a lot for the next couple years and then I got a smaller one(no living quarters) as it's much easier to haul that around and right now I'm only running one horse and not doing over night or weekend barrel races(not much around here)
When we bought the trailer the living quarters wasn't done...we added a bed, cabinets, a booth/bed type seating, the floor and walls got done.
We bought it at quarter horse congress and it hauled two loads of horses there but was new before that. It's still in realllllllyyy awesome shape. We are thinking about selling it but have no idea how well they gold their value.
If you want, you can pm and I'll give more info. |

| I also believe price will depend on what the LQ includes, and how well built the LQ are. If it looks like a home job, this will affect the cost substantially. |

Location: on a horse | As an ex. I built a new one in 02, sold it in 12 for only 10,000 less than I bought it. So if good trailer and LQ done well, it holds its value real well. Mine was aluminum also |

| Since I've been used trailer shopping lately, I can tell you that the 4-Stars, Cimmarons, Platinums and Bloomers hold their value- Sundowner, Featherlite, Silverlite, some Harts (newer ones) not so much- |

Location: where ever my L/Q trl is parked | I think Elite holds their value too... I bought a 2000 with 10' l/q in 2010 with air ride, traded it in 3 years later only lost 2,000 from the price I bought it for. I now have a Elite 2009 with Resistol brand 15' l/q and air ride I feel I could sell it for almost what I bought it for. But as everyone know what you ask and what someone offers is the ? |

Location: ohio-in my own little world with pretty ponies :) | We paid $15,000 for it and are thinking of asking for $10,000. It's an awesome trailer and we've never had ANY issues with it. Nothing ever broke, or had to be replaced and I hauled it a lot for a couple years. |

Location: mi | I would search Horsetrailerworld for similar trailers and see what they are going for. Then you can adjust for add ons or take aways and location and how badly you want to sell. |

Location: south central usa | sometimes a homemade LQ can actually make the trailer worth less than if it was an empty shell. |

Location: Never in one place long | I just sold my 4horse Exiss Event a few months ago.... I only got $1,000 less for it then I bought it for 8 years ago so I'd say it held it's value. We did add some things to it and build some cabinets etc in the front so that was an expense but I was happy with what we got for it. |
