I know this is an on going annoying topic but even I need some adivce. I recently bought a 7 year old started horse who seems to be quite broke even though I have only rode him maybe a month. He flexes, bends, stops etc all really great but when we go to run full speed he tends to lean on the bit alot going into a barrel then resists the bit leaving the barrel, almost just hangs on me. I am doing alot of slow work with him, however he is a roll back style which I am not used to. Does anyone have any bit or training recommendations with him? I am currently using a simple professional choice lifter bit and follow the Sherry Cervi training styles. Thanks!
