Location: The best kept secret in TX | I've heard a lot of people use Uva Ursi Leaves. I Like Ulcerguard but it's pricey. It's worth it tho.
Good Luck |

Location: Muskogee, OK | Gastrogard hands down. It's the only true research backed product out there and has a special buffered ingredient that allows it to get past the stomach and absorbed in the small intestine. Many, many of the "generic" omeprazole products you see out there are not buffered at all and essentially a complete waste of money as they aren't making it past the stomach to get absorbed. |

| Gastrogard. Followed 5 days in by Forco, probiotics, and SmartGut Ultra. Brought one back from the dead right before my eyes.
Straight alfalfa hay, or free choice coastal with some alfalfa. |

| I just finished 30 days of having my horse on UlcerCure OTC. Really pleased with the results and will be ordering more for maintenance. I tried Equi-Sure and didn't notice much difference.
If you are just going to be using it for 4 days, I would go with Ulcergard/Gastrogard. Valleyvet has it on sale for $28.90 a tube. The minimum recommended dosage during periods of stress is ΒΌ tube, up to Β½ tube daily.
ETA: I started my horse on FORCO at the same time as Ulcercure OTC. Really please with the combination. He could've used a few extra lbs and now he is FAT lol!

| I have seen really good results with THE product. My sister had a horse with recurring colic. Turned out to be ulcers. She had a vet friend recommend the THE and it works great! No colic since she started this. |

Please note that with any omeprazole product, it is proven to take AT LEAST 4 days for the horse to get the effect of the product, and this incudes Gastrogard/Ulcergard. So be sure and start 4 days our if you're only giving it when you haul. |
