Ascorbic acid... Vitamin C Base... is good to scatter around the walls and corners.... It dries them out... The Roach Motels takes a while... But those finally wiped them out in our home... It's an ugly story about what they do.... The last living batch looked like walking AWACS planes... |

Location: Texas | Lol the hotel sounds pretty good right now. I'm spoiled, I've never seen a cockroach before in my life that I can atleast remember so this is a little disturbing. I guess I'll have to get some stuff in the morning. |

Interesting. How does it kill them? Oh and she should not leave any food around. |

It renders their offspring sterile. With some very ugly deformations.... About as bad to look at as the Thalidomide babies.. I actually felt bad for them just before they disappeared.. Like I said... Imagine a roach with an AWACS dome on it's back... |

Location: North Dakota | I lived in Arizona for 3 months while on a rotation for school. and the cockroach problem NEVER went away. I lived in the bottom apartment of a large complex that was 3 stories high. I did everything I could in my apartment to control them (plug drains, spray bug spray, no crumbs, etc) and they were still there daily. The problem is that all the apartments are connected and even though I controlled them in mine, they would crawl through the ventilation system from another apartment.
I complain to the management over and over and they "sprayed" but it really didn't help.
Good luck. If you are living in the dorm, they could be coming from everywhere. |

| I personally never had them... but my brother had them and he froze them out!! He turned the AC on as cold as he could and they all left, or went dormant. |

Definately put your stuff in plastic tubs with lids or they will infest your belongings! You can get spray and spray your room or put out roach hotels--or do both! I had them infest my classroom one year (it was over the cafeteria) and I sprayed my room a couple of times a week until the school district started spraying for them. I had to store everything in plastic tubs with lids because they would get into EVERYTHING! |

Oh yes... They lay eggs on cardboard... That's why restaurants take everything out of the boxes and put it on shelves and throw the boxes away immediately. Except for the ones going into a freezer. Roaches in the warehouses lay eggs on them, then they get shipped around to the stores. |
