Location: Oklahoma | I feel like every time I try to find a 15" seat it's impossible to find the right gullet. I've searched every web page I think Google gave me and I check the FB page daily. Either the gullet is right and the seat is too small or the seat is right and the gullet is the standard smaller sizes. I have only found one with the right combination and it's about $500 more than I want to spend (it's brand new).
Any other dealers that might not be well advertised and have a good selection of larger gullets? I prefer to buy used as I don't believe it will be my last saddle before I'm done.... Or anyone in OK with a 14.5" that I might could test ride in sometime? 14.5" seems to open up my options! |

Location: Texas | Try Teskeys. They have Lot of new crown c's. I just traded in a 14.5 with a 9.5 gullet. I will tell u that with the larger gullet the 14.5 was way tighter than a 14.5 with a 7.5 gullet. Good luck in your search. |

Yep :(. Nothing in 15"
I always check Teskey's, Coolhorse, National Saddlery, RS, NRS (even though I think they have to order theirs). I wouldn't be opposed to trying and FX3 at this point if it'll fit my horse. There is a Crown C on FB, but it's .5" too wide but I'm thinking it might just be what I have to settle for! |

This is kinda what I'm afraid of! You're not the first person I've seen say that... So I'm really thinking I gotta stick with the 15" since a 9.5" is what I'm on the hunt for. I've sat in a 14.5 before and it was okay, but I wasn't able to try actually test riding it. Wish I knew what gullet it was! |

Location: East Texas | Have you tried Tracey that works at Martin. She told me if I ever want to sell my larger gullets call her first because she always has people looking. She said most of the used larger gullets sell through her instead of on bhw or other websites. She would know who has one for sale I'm sure. |

Thanks! She helped me find my current 8.5", but I didn't want to "bug" her and wanted to try to do it independently.... Glad to know she's the "inside" source! I'll shoot her a text!! |

I'm not sure where you live but you could sit in my 14.5 with a 7.5 gullet if you like. I will be at ANHA in Waco all weekend. Also FYI Martin can change tree in your current saddle to upsize gullet. I did it a few years ago and it was around 700. It took about 4 to 6 weeks if I remember right. |

Thanks! No ANHA for me, but will you be at Jud Little's in Ardmore next month?
I hate to wait 4-6 weeks right now with a saddle I'm not head over heels in love with (looks wise), but glad to know they can change gullets for when I decide to get something custom done! |

At this point I am planning on going to Judd's. Give me a yell if you haven't figured anything out by then |

Thanks!
A Bit Of Tack has the only one I've been able to find... It's just a bit too nice and more than I want to budget for a transition saddle. |

Is that the place in Verndale? I don't ride Martins but I've been to Verndale and saw they had quite a variety of Crown C's. |

| Talk with Sara at bit of tack in verndale, she is awesome she may have other saddles coming in that are not on site. She had a new saddle that someone had ordered rode 1 time and needed different seat side made me a heck of a deal. She was awesome to deal with |

Thanks! Tracy is checking for me, but if she doesn't come up with anything I will give a bit of tack a call! |

Location: Texas | I had my horse fitted at Teskeys and they didn't have one in the size I needed that I liked... I called Martin and they kind of went through and looked at what retailers had ordered saddles that fit the description of what I wanted..... I'm so picky though I ended up ordering one and waiting the 4 months for it. |
