 yes Mare was in ICU and isolation tok prevent contimination of other horses at UF.. antibiotics and IV fluids.. and 3 weeks in there.she was fine. lost some weight in  process.it scared me

My got it after colic surgery (very common) few weeks of being very careful, lost some weight. But she recovered pretty quick after that. I had her isolated and change clothes and boots before I did take care of her.
