It is my understanding that the only saddle that sits behind the shoulder is the crown c. But I'm no expert.

LM Special is supposed to sit behind the shoulder I think. That's where it rides on my horse.

I think it's Martin saddles in general, but I could be wrong.

Don't think so, Google Lynn Mckenzie on YouTube she goes through saddle for and if I remember right the saddle is on the shoulder

At her clinic they put a bare tree on a horse and had it placed behind the shoulder, that is why I thought they were placed behind the shoulder.

That could be... I only have a crown c. It has the adjustable rigging. I think saddles with those can sit behind the shoulder

Don't know about DJ saddle, but I was taught to snug the cinch just enough to keep the saddle from rolling and jip
(trot
) your horse a few times in a circle around you and then where the saddle sits after- that's where the sweet spot is. Cinch up and ride.
My Martin Ironhorse with the adjustable cinch plate sat just behind the shoulders.

I'm pretty sure it's right behind. If I remember right, she puts it on the shoulder then slides it back where it fits the best.

I put all my saddles behind the shoulder to free their shoulders up.

I set my Pozzi's behind the shoulder and when I bought my 1st one I had a tree fit to him so I could get the best tree for him. I have a couple of them and that is where they both sit.
