Expert Posts: 2457	Pink = mares Blue = stallions The multi colored little boxes inside, refer to a different horse that shows up in the pedigree more than once. For instance, some stallions will be lined up multiple times in pedigree, if you look - one color will refer to one horse in the pedigree.

I'm Cooler Offline Posts: 6387 Location: Pacific Northwest	The different colored ones are to make it easier to see how often a certain horse appears in the pedigree. Using our horse Scooter as an example: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/pe+pa+bay Leo, Three Bars and Lady Armstrong all have a box after their name to make it easier to see they appear more than once.
