Ima Fickle Fan Posts: 3547 Location: Texas	We bought ours pre-soaked in creosote for the new fence we put up this spring. Sure beats painting. We stained the other existing fence to match. Lasts longer than paint.

It will stop them for a while but eventually the taste will be gone. I'm not sure just regular boards you would get from a hardware store.

Knowledge is Power Posts: 4051 Location: wherever my daughter's running	We have wooden fence and I painted it - not at all thrilled with it. Neighbors down the road have wooden fence and put used motor oil on theirs and it looks fantastic and has been up for years. Really kicking myself.
