Location: EDGE OF INSANITY | I need recommendations for a good calming supplement. My guy has had a host of problems (get one thing fixed and something new pops up) that are all cleared up now, but in the process, he has developed a bit of an alley issue. He will go in, but he tends to clam up, and sometimes his runs are a bit scattered. We have been working on this for about a month, and he has improved, but i was just wondering if anyone has been through something similar and used any products that helped. I do anticipate him acting ugly which gets my nerves going and i know that doesn't help either. Thanks |

Location: Oklahoma | I'm using Mushroom Matrix ECP. I'm not a huge believer in calming supplements, but my stud needed help after our move. I am sold on it. I plan on keeping him on it during breeding season. It really helped with the focus, and I can honestly say I had some of my best rides to date when he was on it. |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | THE Equine Edge has a great daily supplement in either the Muscle Mass or the Performance Formula that can have several issues added in-calming, epm, bleeder, joint & arthritis, ulcer prevent, hoof etc etc
They also have Calming powder and Calming Cookies. If you want more info, let me know and I can help out. |

Thanks! Can i get this online? Or do i need to order it through a rep? I would like to get his topline built up a little more also, he had some stifle issues and lost a lot of muscle due to using himself wrong. Its slowly building up, but if i could get a two for one (focus/calm + muscle builder) that would be awesome |

| Have you considered that he may have developed ulcers while you've worked on clearing up his other issues? |

Location: 31 lengths farms | If I remember correctly scoping can only find ulcers in the foregut, not the hind though... Is that correct?
I'd at the very least put him on Forco. |

Location: EDGE OF INSANITY | I can say this much, I work for a vet school, and my sister is a vet so this horse has been checked from nostril to a$$ crack. Several times. As if right now, there is nothing physically wrong with him-I think he still associates running with pain and I just need him to chill, focus and figure out it doesn't hurt anymore |

THE's GastroPLUS will help front and hind gut ulcers if that is something you are worried about.

Perhaps just some time off then, to let him get comfortable in his "new body"?

Correct. UltraSound can help identify thickening walls of the hind intestine though. |

Location: 31 lengths farms | Thank you...I thought I remembered that issue from years ago, had my mare scoped, came back negative. She was still a basket case at the gate but would run her heart out anyway. Thought I remembered that the scope will not find the hind gut issues so we put her on meds for ulcers and she felt better quickly. |

| Have you checked into Formula 1 Noni Blue label? I am a rep and can send you more info if you would like. Just message me. It will help with joints, focus, ulcers, feet, coat, and many more... It has helped my mare to stay focused and not stress and also our bucking bulls are on it. Helps them to be stress free while traveling which we feel is hardest on them, but yet they still fire when it is time. |
