| Has anybody tried this? I usually use Sore No More but was wondering if RR was better. |

| I'm almost through my first bucket, just ordered my second. I'm impressed. I'll always use it. |

Location: Oklahoma | I'm currently using it to treat a suspensory injury. I have no way of knowing the results until we ultrasound in a few more weeks. I really do like the texture of it better than other poultices I've used. It's pricey though. |

Location: North Dakota | Is it really that much better than Sore No More for a strain? I love Sore No More which I can find for around $20-$21 for a 5lb bucket but Runners Relief was recommended to me for a tendon strain. The cheapest I have found is a 1.75lb bucket for $69. |

| LOVE it- used it to help rehab a torn suspensory. Did PRP also but vet was shocked and amazed at each follow up visit how well my horses was healing compared to his other PRP/suspensory patients he has had. I was the only one who was sweating with the RR every night. |

Location: Oklahoma | I hope it is still somewhat effective all alone and not wrapping over top of it... my gelding refuses to let me get a cotton layer over top. I guess the cool sensation is just too much for him. |

Better just get up earlier. Or use the soak in the evenings. |

It says you can just apply it to areas that are hard to wrap. Maybe you can just slather some on the hock in the mornings (I use disposable gloves and it's super quick and no clean up) and rinse off it the evenings? |

Location: NE Texas | My vet said to mix it with furacine and use it as a sweat, but to do a cotton wrap first (or no bow), then put the plastic on the outside of that, otherwise it will blister. He says it's remarkable though in how quickly it will pull inflammation out of a leg! |

Location: Oklahoma | For those of you who have used it to treat suspensory injuries: How long did you use RR before you stopped that kind of treatment?
My gelding only has an inflammed proximal suspensory and I have only been able to apply RR and leave it for 12 hours before rinsing off (gelding absolutely will not tolerate me doing a cotton wrap and so we haven't been able to get any further). I told the vet that's doing the shockwave treatment that I was poulticing and he acted like I shouldn't do it long term, just to get the swelling down. |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | I just got mine yesterday to try. I put it on for the first time today so we will see. It sure went on easy and was super easy to rinse off my hands. I plan to just take a bucket of water out to rinse him off good tonight, and then he will wear his PHT bells in the night. I'm not sure how long I plan to do his. I just wrapped the plastic and cotton lower tendon and ankle and then polo wraps-similar to what the RR directions said. |

| So apply RR then cotton/standing wrap, polo, then plastic around that? I use SNM politice and wet my no bows then apply them that way. poltice is always still damp when i take them off. Why the plastic? |
