My gelding is blowing out on the back side of the right barrel. He has been to the vet and found nothing wrong. If anybody out there has any ideas I would really be grateful.

Is the "right" barrel your first or second barrel?

Yes the right barrel is my first.I went out and rode him last night and just before he got to the back side of the barrel I reached with my hand and spatted his hip and he came on around but as I am not very coordinated I really don't think I should try that often.LOL

Your welcome.....what I've learned is sometimes when we get running these seasoned horses we can get a little complacent about keeping their body in correct positions. It may not even take much but that little body adjustment can bring ya back to things working right again :)
