How'd she like that? My shoulder was killing me, and that was years ago, bout all I remember, lol. My son can get a bead on anything, he's got an over/ under that he likes real well but he loves his bow just as much . I said that's good with the price of ammo. :) Part of the shoulder hurting issue could be the load size. My hubby shoots 1 1/8 Oz. of powder. It killed my shoulder. I shot 7/8 oz loads the other night and didn't have any pain or bruises! :) But like most guys...they think bigger is better! LOL i should add that we didn't shoot heavy loads either....just some small light loads i had laying around.....no 3" or 3"mag

Firecracker Dog Lover Posts: 3175	dhdqhllc - 2014-09-26 7:20 AM yes, a .410.....it's kind of a help and hindrance.....not much kick to that .410 so good for starting but you have to be a good shot to hit anything with it....but he busted a couple which surprised me....if you can hit stuff consistent with a .410, you are a pretty good shooter.... Agree to all of that. And dang impressive to hit targets with a .410. Love to see families shooting for sport - I think a lot of folks that have never tried it for fun are really missing out. I like a .410 for grouse hunting. Trap shooting - give me a .12 gauge. Course, I learned on a Browning BT 99 made for trap shooting. It's hard to convince new shooters that a .12 gauge made for shooting trap will kick less than a .20 gauge used for hunting. It's all about the loads and weight/length of the shotgun. Keep those pictures coming. Love it!!!

You shoot at state level, hopefully qualify at your state finals and are part of your state team and they give Gist buckles for 1-3 place. do this, it has been an awesome thing for my son to get to go to Rock Springs and shoot. It was super tough this year, they had 128 trap shooters at finals and you had to shoot 98 out of 100 in the first 4 rounds to get in to the final shoot-offs. really 'like' Me too on the "Really LIKE!" This is awesome! I didn't know they did this!
