| Looking for reviews on lung function supplements, or other supplements for bleeders and horses with chronic allergies. Curious what you have tried that worked and what you have tried that didn't?
My routine to run so far includes:
1- Lasix 6 cc, 4 hours out
2- Air power and electrolytes about 1 hour out
3- Flair Nasal Strips applied
I'm currently researching the best option for feeding my allergy prone horse, but now she is on pasture and I feed Purina Strategy (mostly feed Purina Strategy because it is easy to get when travelling) with Platinum CJ.
I like air power. I can tell my horse feels better and not as dogged down warming up like she had been when I started the lasix. I think the electrolytes help perk her up to. I am open to hearing what everyone thinks are the best paste electrolutes to give as well... I usually just pick up whatever is available where I am at.
I have tried Formula 707 Competition Essentials for lung function and I noticed no difference what so ever. I would, however, like to get her back on a daily lung supplement. Thoughts on XBL Powder of HCX Hemo Cease XTreme? Any reviews on these? Or better options? |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | You might look into THE PulmonEZ. I have a lot of customers that use it and lowered their lasix dosage and some that have totally stopped the lasix. I have THElecrolytes too that go hand and hand with PulmonEZ. Money back guarantee so you aren't out anything. |

Location: Florida | I have a BAD Bleeder IAD causing the secondary EIPH seasonal & dust allergies. I try to keep him in a clean dust free area. No shavings, wet hay etc. I have tried Oxy Gen products, after 90 days on the bleeder stop he bleed threw for the first time in 3 years (may or may no be related but did not help my peace of mind) Did the XLB, nothing. Did 707, nothing. Have been on Bev's Equine Products Bleeder w/allergy and he acutally breaths beeter, clearer, he runs and plays in the pasture with my colt. He wants to work more. We have made 1 run and he was better and no signs of bleeding and ran .4 faster! It's the most natural option, and the cheepest I've tried with the best results. I have put my mare on it for bad allergies. Not sure about results has only been a few weeks and too wet to really ride this week. |

Location: At the barn | I just started my daughters house on Respifree. I'm very pleased with how he's doing. Its all natural and had really helped him. He started having allergies a year ago and was headed towards a heaves diagnosis. |
