so this year my church is doing their first ever trunk or treat.  I have been asked to decorate the back of my horse trailer as a small  (16') haunted trail.  Of course i said yes but early morning has me regreting that decision.  lol
Ok creative peeps of BHW.... Help me decorate the horse part of my trailer.

We always do trunk or treat at our Cowboy Church. Last year we went all out and decorated and set up a haunted trail throughout the arena. We used a bunch of tarp and used the pens as "rooms". Each room was decorated in spider webs and anything we could find that might be a little scary. We have a lot of little kids so it wasn't over the top scary, but just enough that they had a blast. We gave them each a flash light as they went through. Of course, each room had a ton of candy so that certainly made them happy! My 10 year old grandson, who is always the jokester, laid down between some of the pens and grabbed some of the bigger kids by the ankles as they walked through some of the rooms. Lots of screams, but fun was had by all!!! LOL!!!

Use hay bales, spider webs, laterns or some kind of lights that you can hang the trailer. You will have fun once you get into the decorating and will enjoy the kids' reactions to whatever you set up!

Get you some dark tarps & line the inside then use hay on the floor & hay bales. Do you know anyone who has some old steer heads, if so use them & some rubber snakes. You could make a scarecrow dressed as scary cowboy

Cover your windows with black tarp or black poster board. And run a extension cord to the black lights and set up small speakers and run a extension cord to them as well or get battery operated ones. For the music you could put music on a iPod or your phone and contest it to the speakers.

Lulu!!!  You NEED me!!!

If you want an effect similiar to that ghost please google "Pepper's Ghost"  it' is the same effect as the ghost in Disney land which involves glass.   It's EASY.

Oh how I wish I could help you!!!

bout time you check in here riden!!!  i need you to chime in with ideas..
one i got off pinterest is filling up a pant leg and adding a boot and creat a small grave with a tombstone.
Im gonna be limited on space. and it is at the church parkinglot so im not going for super scary or gore.
Cowboy boy themed.  will serve the candy up in cowboy hats.  (thats as much as my juices have come up with)

BHW's turn!  GO!

A bubble machine and a strobe light creates an amazing stop and go floating orb effect.  Bubble machines can run up to fifty bucks but I bet you'll find other uses for it.  Birthday parties, etc.
