A Myler Lynn McKenzie 3Ring Combo Low Port Barrel...
or a Sharon Camarillo Lifesaver Plus Touch Bit
The woman I bought my horse from said those were the two she used on her. Which one would be better? The bit I have now isn't the best and I would really like to get something a little better.

I've never used that exact Sharon Camarillo bit, but I have used her lifesaver bumper bit, same mouth only no shanks/no curb chain and a twisted wire noseband. I liked the mouthpiece, and the noseband kept the horse from leaning on it. So it was a good bit to get a pushy horse off of the bit.
Sorry I couldn't help more, but the mouth itself isn't really severe, the noseband was the harsh part of my bit.

I use that lifesaver bit a lot. Its one I dont really part with since it works well on such a variety of horses.
Ive never used the other.

Thanks for the input guys! I'm going to try a chain bit for a while since I already have that handy.. But I'm leaning towards the tender touch.
