Location: Canada | Hey y'all, I came across a cute Firewater Flit/Peppy San Badger bred filly, 3 yrs old, unstarted, what are your thoughts on a cross like this? Don't know enough about Firewater Flit, what are offspring like? Trainability?
Thanks everyone |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | I have a grandson of FWF. He's by Amy's Firewater Finale and a AA Shoot Yeah daughter I used to own. He's got a great personality, real people pleaser and has been easy to get along with since day 1. He was born halter broke, just wants to be with you. He's just a yearling, but I have hauled him to town to the farrier with my older horses and to a chiro appt and he acted like a much older "been there, done that" kind of horse.
I think the FWF's are so popular for many reasons, train ability being one of them. |

Location: Alberta | If I could own a whole trailer full I would....I have a grandson of FWF (beduino bred on dam side) he has a quirky personality, very curious and trainable, and very naturally has taken to the barrels |

| I have a own son of FWF out of a Fols Native mare. He is one of the most gentle horses I have ever been around a true gentlemen. All business on the barrels but so sweet. I would get another in a heartbeat |

Location: Texas | The Firewater Flits are amazing horses! Simply Amazing bloodline! One of the best lines to ever be developed. I would be scared of the peppy San badger myself! They kinda like to buck ??. |

Location: California | I own an own daughter of FWF out of a daughter of Dual Rey/ Docs Solano and I would never own another one unless I got to raise it. She is hotter than any horse I've ever been around. Unfortunately she got rammed and jammed early on. When I got her I didn't think she had as many "holes" as she does. Very sweet mare but she was so untrusting for a long time. I am not sure if we will ever make it around the pattern with a qualified time but she does have a very sweet personality and is not "mareish" at all. She just can't handle any pressure at all and can get really hot really fast. She is anything but user friendly and she remembers everything - forever, good and bad. If she had a better start maybe she would be better, but who knows! And she will buck like a son of a gun! I usually try and turn her out before I get on her. She can definitely get some air and is athletic. The way she is built (like a bulldog!) you wouldn't think she can jump and buck as high and hard as she does!

Location: Loco,Ok | Rode a lot of Flit Bars.Really like them. The Little Peppy side of this can be good or a real challange. Neither one can stand hammering on.Tired and tired some more is the best way to go at them. Could be the best horse you will own. |

| My sister had a daughter of FWF. She is truly a gentle giant! Very trainable and wanted to do nothing but please you. She also had a son. That stallion was wonderful! He had a foot injury as a weanling so he was never broke. He was extremely easy to breed and my mom's favorite horse. If I ever get a chance I want a FWT. They are so trainable with awesome personalities. Of course there are exceptions in any bloodline but I think less do with this bloodline |

I have a daughter who is Windy Ryon on the bottom, a Firewater Finale son who is out of a PITS/Shawnee Bug daughter and I have a Fiestas Gotta Gun. The own daughter is awesome. They are all so FUN! I agree with some people. They are born to run barrels and train themselves. The daughter took a while to become friendly and now that we have figured out her soundness issues she will give you 110% and I would put a 3 yr old on her. I love her personality but if she is sore or thinks she is right she will fight you till the death. My Firewater Finale colt is 2 and we just are starting to put time on him but I can't say a bad thing about him. Friendly, loves to please and acts like he has been hauled all his life. The Fiestas Gotta Gun is a weanling and really acts like she is an old broodmare. :) |
