Anyone know why one would just die??? It's not that old and hasn't been tortured.............I think it might be the screen because I can hear the volume when I adjust it but nothing else????

Yep, when in doubt hold the off button for 30 secs and try again. If all else fails and it's less then a year old it's still covered under warrenty so call Amazon and ask for a replacement. They've been very good on the customer service side of things. Just my thought but if it's done that once and still covered under warrenty try to get it replaced.
