I'm the only person I know on a personal level who will make it a point to come right out and either tell people to shut it, or that I just plain don't want to hear it. And I will be the first to speak up in a group of strangers when they start talking about rumours, tell them they are exactly that, rumours, and walk away.

I will NOT tolerate it. When I do hear something derogatory about someone well known, I don't ever think less of them. What the hell ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? In a fair court of law, not by some person who thinks they are judge and jury.

Now actions are another issue. They speak WAY louder then any word even spoken. But again, if I don't see it with my own eyes then it's just rumour
