Location: Deep South | I had this start happening to my work computer really badly. We had an IT company come in to fix it and somehow something called "Ad Driver" had been installed and was causing it.

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | Mine was doing the ad thing really bad, I could not read anything without an ad popping up every second here on BHW, finally got to the point took my computer in and had it cleaned up and there was so much junk in it.
Edit to add: no more ads popping up.

Location: Oklahoma | I was afraid of that. I paid a guy $80 about a month ago to come "clean" my computer and make it run faster. Unbeknownst to me, he turned off my antivirus (which I have since turned back on) and didn't help the speed, either....and now I'm getting all this. I've uninstalled all the Go Save stuff, but it's still showing...I'm getting really frustrated with it. Guess I'm going to have to take it in somewhere. Grrr..... |

We use Network Services (out of McAlester) for whenever I mess things up on my computer at work. He's really easy to work with. I can get you a number of you'd like. He travels to us, but I'm not sure how they are about personal/individual matters.
(I have a question for you... Can you give me an estimate on how long the haul to Lincoln takes? Stopping and all?) |
