~BINGO~ - 2014-11-06 10:30 AM I would never say I am anything less than beyond blessed in my life. But sometimes going for things doesn't help make anything happen. Hubby and I thought we were finally in a position to be approved for a home loan. We have worked hard to clean up credit, put away for a nice downpayment. Sold things we didn't want to so we could add to our down. Got prequalified, pending we take in tax information. And it all fell apart yesterday.

Sorry.....didn't want to be a downer. LOL. Go for your goals, guys.

Keep your chin up! Things ARE happening, just not as fast as you would like them to happen, or not the way you want them to happen right now. You are setting yourselves up for when the right place comes along. We had a similar experience. I see now that, even though I didn't get what I wanted, I did get what I needed. God had other plans, I just had to quit fighting him on it. I wanted 30+ acres of land I was absolutely in love with. It was in a terrible school district, tho. But, it was just us two. Fast forward three years and I have a baby. That place would not have worked at all for my current situation. I can name several other reasons it would not have been the right place for us, but I didn't know that at the time.

You know sometimes things fall apart because that isn't the plan..... but it sure sucks and stinks at the time that it is happening.  It's hard to imagine that sometimes the "what's waiting" is better than "what I want right now".

Good luck.. it will all work out.

My goal is to run Ricky at the WPRA finals in the futurity next year....after he and Gunnar give em heck at the other futurities.  Then if Ms. Ellie hangs around long enough we'll futurity her in 2016 and maybe Rail Ditch and the new kiddo in 2017.  My goal is to see my young horses go on and make rodeo horses either for me or for someone else.  Already have several out there, but I really believe the crew i've got lined up now is the best group of young horses i've ever had the pleasure of starting!  I'd love to see one carrying my brand run up the tunnel at the Thomas and Mack one day even if i'm not the one running them.

If all continues to go well with Ricky and he continues....i'd love to try and qualify him for the American if he makes that calibar of horse.

Nothing wrong with dreaming big and going for it!
