I haven't used either of these yet, but I've heard some going crazy about them. I read an article by a vet that basically says the studies were a little bogus and sponsored by the companies.

The article is by David Ramey, DVM. It's called "Ready Or Not, Tildren and Osphos Are Here".

I was thinking of having a friend ask about this for a horse, but after looking, the only positive responses I can find are from sites from the drug companies.

Anyone use it that could REALLY tell a difference?

I work at an equine vet. We just started carrying OSPHOS. A coworker with a navicular jumper tried it and can tell a difference. The horse may even be able to return to showing. I was going to try it BUT my mare is so advanced that even the OSPHOS couldn't pull her out of the pasture. Her navicular bone looks like cheese almost. I feel its worth a short and MUCH cheaper.

Did Tildren on a gelding with a  coffin bone fx back in July. He's better havent x-rayed to know if its time off or the bilateral Tildren infusion

I've heard they may use it for other things. What is it that they actually do to the bone?

I have a reiner with navicular.  The Tildren did very little for him.  After calling around to 5 "local" - local being within a 4 hour drive - vets......I found one here that is going to order Osphos for me so I can try it.

I'm skeptically hopeful.  I also started him on Equi Bone about 3 weeks ago.....have yet to see a difference.
