| do the owners of the well known proven stallions typically give discount to a proven mare?? Im talking like substantial futurity winnings etc. Just wondered alittle new to the game just wondered what was typical...or maybe since they are that proven...they dont "have' to give discounts etc ? |

^This. The worst they can do is say no, so it doesn't hurt to ask. But, if it is a high dollar, ultra proven stud (think DTF, Corona Cartel, etc etc), I wouldn't be expecting a discount. |

| Usually considerations are given to try and fill a studs book. If the book is filling without having to really entice people then the answer is no. FWOTR filled in a couple of hours, no considerations given. I can guarantee DTF doesn't give considerations. So in my opinon it depends on what you mean by high $$. It doesn't hurt to ask, but dont be offended if they say no, afterall it is business. |

This. You can get a Jud Little stud like Bug in My Frosty for around $1k, or lots of other great studs like Goodbye Lane for less than $500. |
