Who is feeding them?  Which of their feeds are you using?  I'm very intrigued with the open locked label and being able to see exactly what is in the feed.

I feed Omega Force to the barrel horses and Growth & Development to my broodie and her baby.  My friend is a sales rep so she's a great resource and if I ever have any questions she gets with their nutritionist for me who is very knowledgable.

I feed the Omega force as well. Its one of the few feeds I've found that doesn't have molasses as one of the top 5 ingredients.  I drive 45 minutes away to stock up on mine so thats how much I like it!

Omega Force for almost a year now. My mare's coat and tail looks much better on it. her tail is over half way down her cannon bone. In the past it would be barely to her hock at the end of summer.

I've been feeding Omega Force for 2 years now. I first started with it when I was sale prepping two, 2 yo who I wanted slick and shiny but since I feed alfalfa I don't really need the extra protein. OF with 12% fat has the highest amount of fat than any other feed available in my area. My 2 yo never got hot or stupid on this feed and they looked great, I never had to put a drop of show sheen on them, they shined like copper pennies. Almost everything I ride now gets OF. The other feature I like about it is the minimum feeding recommendation is 4 to 8 lbs versus most other feeds that recommend .5 to 1 lb for every 100 lbs. I like knowing that I don't have to feed a lot to ensure my horses are getting the vitamins and minerals they need, since I ride mostly 5& under horses that are still growing and filling out that is really important to me.

I will say that prior to trying OF the Rep gifted me some bags of the intensify 14/8 to try instead of the Safechoice that I had Wizard on. After my months supply ran out I honestly saw no change so I went back to the Safechoice because it was cheaper. Wizard at that time was already in great shape and weight so there wasn't a whole lot to change there except things like power, mobility and recovery time.

Do you feed any vitamins in addition to it?  I've got two that really blossomed when I added Oxy-Max to their Safechoice.  We're going to change everyone over to Bluebonnet, just trying to sort thru the different feed options.  Was considering the Intensify for one that's always been a bit of a harder keeper....dang it's pricey, but if you really can feed less, then I'm good with it.

Hi Kirstin!!

 Hi Malaika!

I do not add any vitamins to it because I feed the 4 lbs so they are getting the vitamins and minerals they need. The only thing I have added have been ulcer meds and preventatives for the horses that acted ulcery, although the OF does have probiotics added as well.

I used to do beet pulp, rice bran, flax and supplements because I wanted high fiber, high fat and make sure they had all their vitamins and minerals for growing. OF does all that plus my husbands head doesn't spin when he has to feed for me anymore ;-)
