Okay... if 7/8 tooling is when the jockeys are roughout, but fenders are tooled then what is it called when the jockeys are tooled on the outside, but the part where your thigh sits is roughout?

I think it is called a 3/4 if it is what I think you mean. I'll go find a picture.

 Somewhat, I suppose! Lol

this is what I mean, but it's done by Martin.  I'm interested if Double J offers something similar... I can call and ask them, just curious exactly what I'm "asking" for. I think 3/4 is roughout fenders and 7/8 is when those get tooled... I'm just not 100% sure! Lol

Nevertooold - 2015-02-01 10:40 PM That saddle looks like it's all roughout with tooling on the edges?

I think it's called a full rough out with border.

I give up...I just re-read your original post and now I'm confused.LOL

Lol!!!  I'm confused myself!!! Probably not saying it right.

this is tooling amount that I want.... Just want that thin sliver of roughout under the thigh if at all possible from Double J.  I've found graphs online that show the different amounts of tooling (i.e. 1/2, 3/4, 7/8) but non offer this exact proportion.

I've never seen a saddle done like that so my original thought is right but you want an overlay on the front and back of the seat jockey. It would be easier to send them the picture of the saddle you posted a link to.
