Just wanted to share a project horse. She got dumped in my lap on saturday. She's been through some rough times and I think within a few months she will look like a million bucks. She was so hungry the first day I brought her home. Any feeding suggestions?

Before you post a message simply check the box beside "Attach a file after posting". It will let you upload the picture and once it is accepted you can return to the thread and see your photo:
) However it must be in .jpg form. If it is .jpeg it will only show it as a download.

I think you can just copy and paste the photo... let me try one to see.......
Yep, I just copied the image and pasted.. This is my 30+ year old mare that I had let a friend use for her small grandchild just to ride/walk around. The mare became poor, eventhough was being fed. When I got her home and was with her every day and paying attention to her eating habits I realized... she couldn't eat hay. The top picture was taken in Oct. 2013, bottom picture May 2014. Granted your situaton is different, but I wanted to tell you what I used to put weight on this mare. Of course forage was an issue so I spent lots on $ on Chaffhaye for her. She needed it... she got it. I also feed ADM feed and put her back on ADM SeniorGlo and top dressed ADM HealthyGlo nuggets. She's still with us today and although I don't have a current picture, she looks good for 30+ years of age. Good luck with your project horse. Glad she found you.

The shape is there! That mare won't look like the same horse when you get her looking like she should.

Thanks everyone. Ive owned for 1 week now and I can see her attitude change and her coat is starting to look nicer. I have a mini donkey with her and they love each other, I think the companionship is helping alot.
