Location: White Mountains of AZ | I've never realized exactly how true this was, until my barrel horse got injured past January. Yes I have my little mare, but she's no where near the caliber of "Hank". It's been about a year since I've run a pattern.!! I've never realized how much of a passion and love I have for the sport until it was suddenly taken away from me. Even more so now since the other day I was just playing with Hank around "bush barrels", he wanted to run so bad! He felt even more responsive, smooth, and wanting to run...So now that he's he almost back in running shape, I'm praying sooooo much that he doesn't decide to try to slice off any other body parts of his! Here we come 2015! ( hopefully ) :) |

Location: Blissfully happy Giants fan!!! | I know that feeling. I took a 10 year hiatus. Just dinked around on some horses. Lost my confidence but I didn't lose my love for the sport. And now, I have a full on addiction. I ran really hard all year long and my girls were amazing. So they are now on winter break for 3 months-no riding whatsoever. I told my husband that and he got fear in his eyes. He apparently is afraid I will lose my sanity and never be the same again. There is that possibility... |

| I know how you feel. I got pregnant with my twins in March 2013 so I quit then. Even since they were born in December I have been to 2 barrel races. I just absolutely cannot afford to do it right now and it is killing me!!! |

Then watching people run ( NFR ) even just movies that have barrel racing in it, I start going crazy!!! |
