What can you tell me about the Sherry Cervi saddles by Martin. Not the crown C. Give me the good the bad & ugly of them;)
I picked up the Martin to try and the lady sent a Marlene McRae home with me to try. Any info on them! It's definitely lighter than the Martin.

I know you said not Crown C, However still have to give you my two cents on Crown C.
Won one at a barrel race and it is a great saddle! One of my favorites. Others I ride are a Merril and Coates. So that's all I have to compare. Don't know about other Cervi's.

i love love love my sherry cervi. i bought one used from a girl a few years ago and it i have been very happy with it. the saddle i was riding in was pinching my horse's withers and causing him to buck every time i rode. he has not bucked once from the first time i put my martin on him. they hold up really well. like i said i bought it already used many years ago and (used to) ride 2-3 times a week and it is still in perfect shape. you won't regret it

I love mine! I bought it used a couple years ago and it fits my horse great! The only complaint I have is that I would like the seat to be a little deeper. If I remember correctly, the Sherry Cervi model has the shallowest seat of their barrel racing saddles. It's not a flaw of the saddle, just a personal preference :)

They are too heavy. Beautiful saddles, but too heavy in my opinion. Mine sits in the tack room.

It is heavy, especially compared to my Merrill but I think my Teskey is heavier than the Martin.

Mine isn't that heavy but I wouldn't own another one... With that said I like it way better than the crown c
