| I'm fortunate to be a teacher. We dont have to buy the Obama insurance. Ours already qualifies. I have BCBS and there are 2 of us on my plan. I pay 200 a month for health, dental, and vision combined. No deductibles, 15.00 office Co pay. ER and hospital covered 100 percent. ER visit without being admitted is 50.00. Free prescription coverage. |

Healthcare is definitely going to be of lesser quality because for what it costs to go thru med school you won't have the cream of the crop going into that field! |

I've seen a lot of young students opt for nursing school with view toward becoming a nurse practitioner, or some opt for PA school. Twenty years ago these were the ones who apply to med school first, but now they choose to be a mid level provider and one big reason is the huge debt burden when they are out. Foreign grads are rapidly becoming more commonplace amongst physicians. |

| I've worked the same place for almost 7 years. When I started we had company provided health insurance for free. We paid vision, dental on our own.
The next year it went to they would either pay all and give you $2000 to your fsa with a 2500 deductible or you could pay like $100 a month. Mind you, it is and has been a tobacco free work place since the beginning (privately owned in Texas).
The past few years they've implemented a "voluntary" wellness program, removed at sugar from our vending machines and cafeteria, and brought a nurse in.
2015 they stopped offering a low deductible plan at all. Fortunately we've been high deductible with an HSA for years so I'm already used to that. We put a chunk in that every year since individually we have a 6k deductible, then a % to our max out of pocket.
I will say, having a clinic in house isn't half bad especially if it is something like a sinus infection that you just need an Rx for but really don't want to take time out to get into a doctor.
For my family we pay about $300 a month on health only. That is with one wellness discount. If my husband would get his blood pressure under control it would go down $100 a month.
I could change jobs and make more money, but I'd end up spending it on health insurance. So I stay where I'm at for now. |

I had posted earlier when my husband went to his last physician visit, he has to go every 4 months, the doctor saw him for 5 minutes and it took almost 20 to check out at the front desk with all the crap they have to do because of Obamacare. |

Location: Kansas | With millions of illegals working their way into our health care system it should get more and more interesting. Obama crawling in bed with the Castro brothers..... I see tens of thousands of Cuban illegals floating our way very soon looking for that free lunch.
And yes, my paycheck is already smaller as of September 1st thanks to our health care premiums going up. |

Location: CA | I am grandfathered in with my Blue Cross. I pay 913 a month for me and my two boys. It is a lot I know, but I just couldn't do Ocare or Covered California.... I just don't want the govt. to have anymore control over me that it already does. I am more than slightly paranoid. |

Location: home for the winter...what a dumb idea | We don't have insurance . we couldn't afford it. It would have been over 1/2 our monthly income. I have a dental plan throughout Delta Dental because my teeth are the only thing that has ever needed work. I pay 30 a month have to pay $60 for a yearly cleaning and grays. $90 per filling or extraction. I have had 2 teeth pulled and 6 filling so far this year. 1 more to pull and 8 more filling...... |
