So who all feeds oils- and how do you keep it from getting of you know- EVERYWHERE?! I feed Healthy coat, and I swear it goes everywhere but in my horses feed tub. Not really, but it'll leak out of the pump, onto the floor, even tipping the jub back- it still ends up leaking! I love the product, but am totally hating the mess....

I either use a pump or pour it carefully, never had a problem

I was but I switched to the powdered form of Cocsoya Oil from Smartpak because 1. it was messy and 2. the powdered stuff from smartpak (only place you can get powdered cocosoya) also has probios in it.

I feed Coco Soya oil & if you get the larger ones with the pump & use a measuring cup to pour over grain...there's no mess.

I never use refined oils. I prefer vegetable fats in their natural state. This allows better use in the digestive system, and does not interfere with other processes.

I had the same thing happen. I switched to omegafields horse shine. It's ground flax among other stuff. My horses look good! It's a complete omega panel too. They both lick the feeder clean.

I've fed HealthyCoat for 8 years and I can't say I have ever had a problem with it leaking out of the pump?

I buy the tub of organic coconut oil at Costco for $23. I use a small cookie dough scoop and fill a cookie sheet with as many as I can squeeze on there. Pop it in the fridge for a bit then put them in a plastic container and leave it in the barn. I can drop however many I want to into their grain. I also toss them to the dogs. They all love it. I'm not sure if it's the oil you would want to feed, but it's economical and easy.
