Location: Kentucky | I'm looking for leather halters with the brass name plate. Nothing incredibly fancy. I see the custom nylon halters in Smith Brothers, Valley Vet, etc., but I'm searching for the leather halter. |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | I usually get the mid priced halter from Doversaddlery.com for around $35-$40 and then order the name tags from here. They are the good quality ones and cheap. www.haltertags.com |

Location: In Ky following Barrel Races & Walker hounds. | There is a pretty good tack shop across from the stable gate at Churchill, can't remember the name, I think he hand makes the halters and he also does nameplates. |

| I got a halter like this for Megahoss from a company there in Kentucky. Let me see if I can remember who it was. They did a great job, and the halter only cost me $50-60. |

Location: The best kept secret in TX | I ordered one from Teskey's a few years back and love mine. I think back then it was trophy halter number 6? They may have changed it since then but I like mine. Anyway, Casey Cooper is who helped me. He's a pretty nice guy, quick too. Never heard of Quillen... Guess I should look into them tho with all the above posters raving about them
ETA: I know Quillin Leather now after a little help from google! Looks like good stuff!

I think it is called Lucketts. At least it was there several years ago. I know of another guy in the Fairdale area that makes them but they might be more expensive. PM me if you want his name. |
