Veteran Posts: 209	Looking for suggestions for custom bit makers! I know of L&W, Shallow Creek and Carolina but looking for someone that can make a roping type bit and maybe add brand or initials to the shank. Or if anyone happens to have a unique square port bit sitting around :) Thanks!

The Advice Guru Posts: 6419	Dutton Bit very reasonably priced not sure longitivtiy of the bit as I just got mine but they are very well balanced Elliott Bit and Spur, gorgeous well built hold their value and expensive his regular barrel bits start out 125-150 without initials or silver

Elite Veteran Posts: 1035 Location: TN	Dutton bits are awesome and reasonably priced. Tom Balding also makes some beautiful well-made bits but they're pricey.

Location: Keeping up with the numbers!	Gordy Alderson!!! My daughter ropes and he has made us two bits that people have had that were no longer on his web site. I texted him a picture and he made them within a couple of weeks and had them out to us. Great quality and great service. These are life time bits.
