PLEASE winterize your trailer...  My SO didn't think he would have to since he used to go to Texas for the winter.

Well that turned into a BIG mess.  We couldn't figure out why my face kept breaking out in rashes and I sneezed an awful lot while I was in the trailer.

Well, we were getting ready to sell the trailer last year and needed to fix some things.  He decided to pull the couch out as the pump had stopped working....  You guessed it. MOLD everywhere.  Water was pooled in between the wood floor and the steel as it had nowhere to go.  We had to rip up all of the flooring and have it re-done.

You will be WAY ahead of the game if you winterize it.

Well, it didn't go as planned................I did the water heater just fine but when I plugged the trailer in to turn on the pump to do the rv anitfreeze, a fire broke out in the vent behind the frig............yikes for sure!  I got it put out with the fire extinguisher and there's not much damage but I have no idea what happened!  This is a brand new trailer and we haven't even used the frig nor the gas stove, gas tank wasn't even turned on!  So I poured some antifreeze down the kitchen sink and the rest in the toilet..............hoping for the best!  Now to deal with what comes next...................insurance claim or warranty claim???  Such stress!
