| Hi all. Wondering what improvement s you've made to your pulling vehicle that you feel helped it's performance. Chipped, exhaust, etc. cost and pros/cons to what you did. |

Location: North Central Iowa Land of white frozen grass | Adding a chip or programmer to your rig will be the first power adder you can do. All the other stuff is just to keep the heat in check. If you really want to do it right get a chip or programmer that is custom tuned for your truck. They are much better than just the generic tunes. |

Location: North Texas | One must remember that like humans and animals in order to perform well they must breathe well. And in order to breathe well in diesels that entails an oversized exhaust system as well as enhanced air intake systems. These are in addition to chipping the onboard computer for improved computer directed controls. |

Location: Oakdale, CA | my husband is awesome but the new truck purchase is the cheapest part of buying.
I like geno seat covers, husky liner mats, an exhause brake, transfer flow, I prefer a rubber mat in truck bed, often an aluminum flat bed hillsboro my favorite, the steps that are automatic, after marked gauges installed expertly by my hubby, windows tinted, aluminum wheels and a really good polish and wax put on by our detail guy. |

| Go to Powerstroke.org and click on the "performance" section that matches your engine...They have custom tunes on there that blow away any of the store bought brands. |

Location: Texas | I did the hole delete kit on my 2012 Dodge as soon as I hit 100,000 miles. It breaths so much better and runs betters. I kinda wish I would have done it sooner but I didn't want to void my warranty. |

Location: London Ontario | Definitely EgR delete if a new truck, we have a five inch exhaust, bigger lift pump, and I recommend spending the money and getting a reliable person to put in EFI live rather then store bought chips, they will go right into your trucks computer to tune, much safer, make sure you get on huge fly tunes however.... We also have tinted windows and slightly bigger tires for looks, no fender flares, we also have exhaust temp gauge! Much easier and cheaper when you're dating the mechanic I must say.... |

Depends on the chip/programmer and the program it is running. |

Location: Kentucky | We did a few things for our 97 7.3. Upgraded hpop, intercooler, electric fuel kit, TS Performance chip with custom tunes, Wicked Wheel for the turbo, 5" exhaust with downpipe and 160cc injectors. It's made a world of difference.

Location: The best kept secret in TX | In Order for my 96 Ford I pull with: Full 5 inch exhaust straight from the turbo. Cold air intake Larger Performance Injectors I had a programmer put on it but I never drive it on 4 or 5 as it's hard on your engine. I had it tuned now I'm working on getting a performance clutch in it.
ETA It was 5 inch exhaust not 4 sorry.
