Can you suggest some tough wearing everyday western boots that have good arch support?  Something happened to my left foot a month ago and I can barely walk on it without wearing a shoe or boot with arch support.  I've put arch support inserts in my barn boots but I need new boots to wear to work  (I'm a wildlife biologist so they need to take me to the field to catch an injured hawk as well as to a meeting with jeans).
What boots do you suggest?.  I know Ariats have really changed but they brag about ATS (or whatever) foot bed technology.    Help!

Rocky Branson. I've been wearing them for about 7 years and I absolutely love everything about them. They are waterproof, extremely durable, last forever and the arch support is great. They aren't too pretty but they are more comfortable than any pair of tennis shoes I've ever worn. I consider them therapeutic for my feet.

Ariats by far for me are the best........I wear the tennis show type boot.......aka Terrain......you can get them in reg and waterproof which may be what you need in your circumstances.......and they have a zipper model as well.

I wear Ariat Macey everyday (except summer, then no arch flip flops...lol), lots of arch support.....you can be on asphalt or concrete all day and never get shin splints with them...they are awesome....$124.95 on ebay.  They run true to size.

I can't say enough about my Double H buckaroos. They have the ICE Gel Souls. I ride in these boots, wear them to work, clean the barn in them. I do everything in them.

I have really good luck with Justin Gypst boots...but they don't pinch (I have somewhat wide feet), have a fairly high in sole, and the arch works for me (probably average to high arched).

I struggled with feet problems for years. Wicked foot spasms, cramps, you name it. I went to my chiropractor and had both my feet scanned and was amazed at how different each foot was. I had high arches. Over the years they have fallen when I stand, I had custom orthotics made and hardly can't believe how well they have made my feet, legs and back feel! A two day barrel race meant I would walk the floor each night with spasms. The orthotics are spendy but worth every penny in my opinion! I'm sure any foot specialist could do the same. I put the orthotics in any pair of boots/shoes I want to wear. Sorry for the book :)

I can not wear Ariats because of my high arch.  Can't get my foot through the throat of them.  I have had good luck with Lagrange,

Ariat Terrains are extremely comfortable -- and lace - and also support your ankles. I own numerous pair of regular Ariat boots and love them for the foot bed and arch support. The Terrains are my go-to shoe when I am at a show where I will be walking on concrete or asphalt all day. I also wear them as my every day "walking" shoes for exercise. Love them. You can get water proof versions.

Well I wear Boulet everywhere, but that's what fits me. They might not be for everyone.... I know my friend who is a Vet wears Ariat, but I can't stand them.

Had plantar fasciitis one time and my fooot dr. Told me no woman should ever wear a shoe other than Justin or Ariats. They are made for long term walking and being on your feet. My sisters foot dr and my sister in laws foot dr all told them the same thing we all live in different towns so that is three Drs with same openion.

I have a tough time with anything without major arch support and LOVE the Ariat Tombstone nearly all day every day. They're the best!
