She has color, and the breeding could be something to contend with. If you got her, rode her, maybe even barrel raced on her (those bloodlines are gritty, I think she'd make a good candidate for barrels, or almost anything), then cross her on almost any speed bred stud...my oh my, I'd look at a baby like that. JMO.
I KNOW SHE HAS SOME OF MY FAVORITE BLOOD LINES! I REALLY WANT HER. You do know you are on the wrong forum if you want to be talked out of buying another horse, LOL. I could try to brush up on the good cop, bad cop routine. Let me try this:
You don't need another horse, think of what it would cost in hay, board, vet fees, farrier care, training fees...if you aren't see $$$ signs yet, let's go with worming supplements, grain, entry fees. You don't need nor do you want another horse...they're just a money drain.
How was that??? Good try :) The problem is the only additional cost is training. Everything else is the same as owning my other horse... All right, I'm outta ideas, better just trade for her and be over with it. LOL
Even my dad, the unbiased voice of reason in my life thinks I should get her. D@mn it. I asked the owner for pictures. |

I can vouch that she does an amazing job with the young ones & you would not be disappointed. Now - Sara if you are not taking outside horses anymore, you can pound me next time you see me! Yeah we're in the same area. I actually almost bought a really nice 4yr old from her one time! LOL speaking of that colt......A friend of mine actually owned him. I just bought him & he's going to start shooting training as soon as it's nice out!
Oh nice! I can't wait to start shooting off Cash again.
Oh and uh...do you take outside horses? I figured I better ask just in case... |

I'm ready to start shooting again to.....hopefully we get winter practices going in Mandan again! I've actually retired from taking outside horses since I started traveling more with shooting. I'm not home enough during the summer now to ride them with the consistency that I want. So now I just ride my own & life is so much easier! |

Right on. I'll just have to (maybe) hunt some other poor soul down lol. I'm fairly confident in my groundwork teaching skills, as I've done that with completely green horses before. It's just backing and those first rides that are outside my realm. Where is practice held in Mandan?

If you get her I'll get you the info for a guy that worked with the one I just bought, he has him about as close to bomb proof as you can get. We do the winter practices at Prairie Skies Arena north of Mandan. |
